MIDLAND GUNS AND ACCESSORIES (UK)

MIDLAND GUN COMPANY CATALOGS IN CURRENT PUBLICATION

The Midland Gun Company was a partnership of William Baker and Arthur Marsh operating from the Bath St. Works in Birmingham, England (somethimes known as the Deamon Gun and Gun Barrel Works). The business was founded at 77 Bath Street in 1888 but was listed in the Birmingham directories for 1890-1901 at 81 Bath Street before moving to Vesey Street in 1902. Trading continued until the business was absorbed by the Parker Hale Company some time between 1956 and 1965. As you can see if it was the earlier date, Parker Hale continued to market unfder the Midland name. Parker Hale also was known to produce some guns as the Midland 2100 rifle built on an 1893 type Mauser action.
