Hello Gijs, The manual is marked for shipment overseas through eBay. However, some manuals have apparently been flagged as prohibited from shipment. We have no control over that, so, the best I can offer is a pdf from our website that you can have printed locally. Cheers, Rob for cornellpubs

Hello Vidbelly, We can add the hole if you wish and I don’t remember which image this is. I think it is of a printed booklet. You can ask to have the book trimmed to the color. Cheers, Rob for cornellpubs

Ref: Rifle, M16A1 5.56MM 1970 Field-Manual F.M. 23-9 Hi, I am interested in this manual and another oneyou have listed. However this manual you say that you do not post to the UK, is there any chance you could ship this one to me as well? Thanks, Paul (Pathic – ebay)
Hi Paul, The manual is marked for international shipping through our end of eBay: “eBay International Shipping. Your listing will show up for buyers worldwide, where applicable.” I suspect the “where applicable” is the problem. There are apparently algorithms in play that block certain publications from shipment. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about that. You can, however, buy a pdf of the book on our website. Cheers, Rob for cornellpubs

Ref: Sturmgewehr 44 (MP-44) Manual StG 44 Gebrauchanleitung MP 44 StG-44 MP44 StG44 Good morning! Received book yesterday and did not expect the cover logo and shooters notes!!! Was planning on using this as a display and was lead to believe the cover would look as depicted. Not happy with the way it was shown in the advertisement. Would like one with the cover as advertised. Mike flyups, ebay
Hi Mike, Oops, of course you are right, that was a mistake, we didn’t trim off the bottom. I’m sorry and we will get you out a new one tomorrow. FYI, when a manual takes less than a full page, we enclose the bottom for notes. Again, I apologize for our error. Cheers, Rob for cornellpubs.
Thank you Rob… Looking to make this part of a display with the gun crate! Thank you, Will definitely make sure I advertise your product

Hi, I ordered pdf book at your website but haven’t received anything. Could you check please? Liudmila Rak
Hello, I searched for your name, Liudmila Rak and your email address, but found nothing in the sales report. Can you confirm that is the name used to make the purchase? Also, when and what did you buy? Normally, a pdf sale has a download link available online at the checkout page. Another link is sent by email immediately after the sale. I suppose it is possible the sale never finished so you might check your credit card statement to see if there is a charge. I look forward to hearing from you, Best wishes, Abby
Good afternoon, The pdf is received. Thank you. Liudmila, Verstuurd vanaf mijn iPhone

The manual says, in part, 2F or FFg is used in .45 cal or larger guns… however, pages giving loads seem to only give figures for the larger cal guns. Rob for cornellpubs
******************************************* My father passed away and left me a 12 gauge double barrel, double trigger break down barrel. With serial number 380069z I was trying to find the year of this gun was manufactured and the possible value of this gun. I would greatly appreciate any thing you could tell me about this gun. It is in gun working condition. Thanks, Eunice
Hello Eunice, Our sympathies with your father’s passing. His shotgun, however, remains a mystery. Just a serial number cannot identify who made the gun and offer. An appraisal, which we don’t do, depends on so many factors including age, make, condition, model etc. that only an in-person inspection can result in an accurate estimate. I suggest you take the gun to a large gun shop, tell them you don’t want to sell the gun, but ask them if they can identify it for you. Armed with that knowledge you can spend some time on the internet getting an idea of value, start with Gunbroker. Or, of course, you could pay for an appraisal, but I would do the groundwork I suggested above before I made that investment. Cheers, Rob

It does, Greg. Cheers, Rob

Dear Abby, Thank you for your e-mail newsletter of 09/12/24 and for all that we’ve received previously since subscribing to it. I receive them thru my wife’s internet business e-mail address and I really enjoy reading them. I’ve been wanting to write you for a number of years about a certain merchandise catalog from days gone by. When I was about 12 yrs old back in the early 1960’s; I used to look forward to going to the neighborhood barber shop for my haircut. It was always on a busy Saturday morning however I never minded the wait as I enjoyed looking thru the stacks of men’s sports magazines that were available for waiting customers (i.e. Field & Stream, Argosy, Guns & Ammo etc.). I’m attaching an image of a small advertisement that used to appear in the back pages of some of those magazines. I was utterly mesmerized by that ad and saved up my nickels & dimes until I had enough to purchase the money order to send in for one of those fabulous Italian knives. The company was “Florida Imports” out of Jacksonville and accompanying my order in return mail was a fascinating illustrated catalog of their product offerings. There was all manner of imported knives, sporting blades, exotic collectibles and related items etc. that were the stuff an adolescent boy’s dreams were made of. Anyway, I was wondering if you might have one of these catalogs somewhere in your inventory from which a re-print could be made. It would be a miracle but I’d love to have one. I’m 75 yrs old now, long retired and probably spend too much time reminiscing. Flipping thru one of those long lost catalogs again would be a dream come true for me and one less line item on my bucket list. Thank you for the unique service you provide. My best regards, Stanley
Hi Stan, I remember those ads, in fact, I think it was from a magazine ad that I bought a Bowie knife. Anyway, we don’t deal with magazines so have none in stock with which to help. I bet someone is copying or selling magazines so if I were you, I’d Google the names of magazines to see if there are some out there. Cheers, Rob
Hi Rob, Thanks for a timely response. Best regards, Stan

Parts available or? Does this give breakdown instructions with pictures? Thank you Brad
Hi Brad, I’d like to help, but you don’t mention what you are looking at so without that knowledge any answer I could give is useless. Let me know and I’ll try to help, Rob

Hello. I have found a book on your website that is available in PDF format. If I buy it, is it emailed to me? The book is: The Douglas Score 1959. Thanks, Hannah
Hello Hannah, Look for the download link when you check out after you purchase the PDF. Click the download link and the rest is automatic. Best, Abby

I think this is actually a 1939 catalog, I’ll change it. Yes there are various Heddon bamboo rods illustrated. Cheers, Rob for cornellpubs

Last month I purchased two reprint copies of what you described as a Maxim 1925 manual (your item number 482). Unfortunately, your reprint is not a 1925 manual. The manual is circa early 1913, because the company had moved to the Hartford address at the beginning of 1913, and then the company name was changed from Maxim Silent Firearms Company to the Maxim Silencer Company no later than June of 1913. All later manuals use the Maxim Silencer Company name, as shown in your other manual that I purchased, so your “1925” manual cannot be from beyond 1913. I realize that you may be relying on others telling you that it is a 1925 manual, and I am not looking for a refund, but I wanted to make you aware of the discrepancy. Best Regards, Roger
Hi Roger, thanks for correcting our error, we appreciate your help. I made the change of the title. Cheers, Rob
Cheers, Rob and Abby The End. |
