The same steps for assembly/ disassembly apply to the Winchester 1400 Mark II and Winchester 1500XTR. Introduced in 1964 was slightly redesigned in 1968 and called the Mark II. It is the same gun except for the carrier release. The Model 1500XTR is the same.
