The Model 81 Woodmaster was made from 1936 to 1950 and about 55, 581 were produced in .300 Savage, .30 Rem, .32 Rem and .35 Rem. It was a CC Loomis design. Grades offered were 81A Standard, 81C Special (changed to 81B), 81 D Peerless, 81 E Expert and 81F Premier. There was a 14 1/2R Carbine with an 18 1/2" barrel.
