- Schuyler, Hartley, Graham was the sole Importer for many European makers including Greener. Sold a large number of Russian Model S & W. It became Hartley & Graham in 1877
- Burnside Arms was based in Providence RI Breech Loading Patent May 1856, the gun fired a unique conical cartridge inserted in the front of the breech block before the action was closed. A small hole in the base of the cartridge case allowed a side hammer cap lock to be used.
- Schuyler was the First President of the NRA
