Can you help me with an assembly manual for a browning BPM-D 9mm pistol.  I cannot find anything on it.  There were only 800 made and I have one in excellent condition if I can get it back together.  Travis E

Hello Travis, I’m afraid we are not much help. Because it is so rare we just don’t have any information about the Browning BPM-D 9mm pistol. I am sorry. Best wishes, Abby

Please disregard. There is conflicting information on the particular serial number I own and am going with it being a 1935 model. Please proceed with the order as submitted. Thanks!xx

Hello! I have a Marlin No. 92, .22LR with serial number 340301. This rifle belonged to my grandfather, and possibly my great-grandfather. My research suggests this rifle was made in xx1906. I’m looking for takedown instructions – would you recommend the 1905 or 1907 catalog for the best/most complete takedown for this model? I don’t know that this model changed much, if at all, but I thought it would be worth checking. Thanks for your help and for making this information available. Eric E

Hi Eric, Marlin rifles catalogs of that period were identified by year, eg, Model 1892. If you can tell me what model your rifle is, I can look further. Catalogs tended to repeat the same information year after year, so that isn’t a big consideration. So, assuming they built your rifle in ’05, I would get that one, or perhaps a PDF download to check out and print yourself (in landscape mode, fold, staple, and trim). Best, Abby

Hi Abby, Thank you for the quick reply. The rifle is a Marlin Model 1892 (No. 92), .22LR with a serial number 340301, which places the date of manufacture in 1906. I don’t see that you have a 1906 catalog – I suppose it is a question of whether the 1905 or 1907 catalog would be best.  Thanks!

Hi Ray, I don’t know what t/c ( Thompson Center Arms 1974 No. 1 Gun Catalog ?) is but I can tell you everything we offer is at our website: cornellpubs.com Best, Abby

(Abby)  Just a note to say I’m very pleased with my recent purchase. The reprints are well made and very clear. I am quite sure that this won’t be my last order from you. Your providing a very valuable service to the firearms Collector and user and I’m appreciative of that.  Thanks again Brian

Hello, this is Phil James, I have purchased Hubly magazines from you in the past and I was wondering if you have anything on Leslie Henry cap guns, or any other cap guns for that matter. Thank you very much.

Abby and Rob. I doubt that you will remember me (Burnie Campbell Lexington, KY) but years ago when you two were just starting I offered some of my old catalogs and we emailed were you were exploring means of getting your message out. You may still have my old email address in your system.

At 81 I need to sell my collection of gun books as well as a 60+ year collection of reloading equipment. I was hoping that you were aware of a book dealer interested in buying all of the books. Various titles such as: Marlin Firearms, Savage Pistols, Six Guns by Keith, etc. Probably close to 100 titles. All but a few old ones in excellent to like new condition. Burnie C

Hi Burnie, I wish I could help you but I’m afraid I’ve no idea where to sell used gun books other than one of the big used book services like Alibris or Abe Books. Or you could sell them on eBay in batches… no easy answer, I’m afraid. Sorry, Rob

xxRef: Marlin 1960 Gun Catalog. Hello. My understanding is that Marlin created their Glenfield line of rifles in 1960. Does this catalog cover them? Possibly in the last few pages? Thanks.
Never mind! I now see that your ad lists the models covered. I didn’t see that originally. Thanks!

Ref: Remington 1970 Firearms Field Service Manual. Hi can you tell me if in the Remington 1970 Firearms Field Service Manuals you have for sale that the section in the manual for the “Remington Model 550-l” is complete?  I just bought one on eBay from someone else (said original), and almost the entire section was missing. Thank you,  Bill B

Bill, The copy we reprint is the entire 1970 Rem Parts catalog that they published. The Rem 550-I section is eight pages. Rob

Really Ken? You managed to infer politics from an article that reported that ICE is recruiting at gun shows, an innovative and logical place to look for potential agents? You know, one of the problems facing our country today is dealing with people who work hard to penetrate any statement, searching for some polarizing figment.  Happy New Year, Rob

Hello Darrell, A PDF is an electronic copy you print yourself. It is downloaded to your device and exists only on your device. A print version is a paper copy we mail to you. Best, Abby

OK, Thanks

Can you do 10$ plus shipping?

No, we don’t fiddle with prices, especially after doing extra work to answer questions. Our charges are very fair for one-off printing, collating, binding, and shipping of otherwise unavailable antique firearms publications. Plus we have to pay eBay hefty commissions. I’m sorry. Rob for cornellpubs

The eBay buyer sent you a message: “Your latest tracking information indicates that the idiots of USPS are trying to deliver my pubs in Lafayette, Louisiana!”! “Out for Delivery in Lafayette, Louisiana “!!! I am in Memphis and TN.!!! Ya think I can just run to own the road 500 or 600 miles and find my pubs??? Please get real and resend me a new replacement pub? USPS ain’t got a clue nor any chance of proper delivery of the original pubs to me at Memphis, TN. 38108

Greetings, I have a Hopkins & Allen New Model Single Shot Pistol, .22 caliber that needs work. xxLooking for a manual for this including parts schematic and disassembly / assembly information. Please advise. Best, Bob P

Hi Bob, I am not aware of any publication that uses modern schematics to illustrate H&A firearms. Even the 1914 parts catalog that shows the parts in a plan view doesn’t show them for the single shot pistols. On the other hand, the parts of that weapon are few and easily observed when dismantling. Sorry I can’t be more help, Cheers, Rob

Hi Rob, Appreciate your assistance and worth asking. Best, Bob
